It was move in day! Graeme, as a resident adviser, felt like he was the busiest guy on campus. He was on the third floor in one of the double RA rooms, but his roommate was so willing to help. With the inability to be separated from his brother for too long, Graeme worked as a day RA, as well as over the week. For the weekends, and with the school agreement, he had the ability to be off-campus. Otherwise, he got really agitated and it wasn't good on anyone's part. So, at least there was that. The feeling of being at home. At least Graeme was busy, too.

Today's challenge was with the new kids who seemed to flock the streets. The entire dorm building -- both the university's and the high school's -- were cleaned out and those who had summer housing were relocated to different rooms. Even the resident advisers were shifted around. This made it challenging, and thus far, Graeme had found himself at the end of very angry complaints from a handful of students. But that's what the administration did. Anything for money in their pockets, and the complaints of students.

Thankfully, Graeme was having a rather good day today. It took the edge off feeling like he was left stranded with nothing to do. And it was busy. With the sun shining outside, and the sprawl of grass situated between the two resident buildings -- a term considered as "The Lawn" -- the line of resident advisers was long. Each floor had four advisers, and each building had three rooms, so there were plenty of people in and out. With a clipboard, Graeme was pointing people to the correct table -- on one half, the left, was the university residents, and on the right half were those who were in the high school dorms.

"Alright, cool," Graeme grinned at a new freshman high student. Graeme knew the kid felt a whole lot better knowing that there were some really cool resident advisers that were lurking the corridor, and so off he went. Graeme turned his attention, grinning brightly, his good day definitely making it shine brighter, "Hey! Can I point you in the right direction?" he questioned an upcoming student.

Veronika was making her way back to the dorm building. Not many students decided to do summer housing. Veron was desperate for a place to stay and she had enough to cover for the summer. She was lucky enough to keep the same room for her first semester. Her hand tucked the cigarette behind her ear as she weaved in and out of the new students. The tables were set up right in front of the doors. Annoyance danced across her face as she ruffled her eyebrows and stood between two lines.

All Veronika wanted to do was get back into the building and jump into bed. A late shift at the bar and going out with a few new co-workers really exhausted her. It was a shame that things would be cut short due to school. But then again that was why she was there, wasn't it? Make sure to keep on the "straight and narrow". Veron made a noticeable psshhht noise with her mouth and rolled her eyes a bit. But what the girl didn't notice was a student was talking to her.

She snapped out of her mind and shook her head. The boy in front of her was clutching a clipboard and looking directly at her. A wide, awkward smile spread across her face. Embarrassment sank into her stomach as she crossed her arms and looked apathetic. What Veron really should've done was apologize to the poor boy but instead she shook her head no and pleaded the fifth.

Her head looked down at her outfit and she chuckled. It was covered in all sorts of gunk, bartending and such. Her boots were sticky and her dark strands were set in two braids, which now were disheveled. After the moment, Veronika reminded herself not to be rude. Especially to fellow students and one who might be her neighbor. Or RA. She bit her lip and flipped one braid behind her shoulder.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to come off as rude. I was a little distracted. Got a lot of crazy shit up in her." 

A slender finger tapped on her temple as she gave a slightly crazed smile. Either it was her sobering up or just becoming finally sleepy after a hard night. But her crazy was starting to seep out a little. Not that she minded.
